Old Artwork

While digging through my attic for art supplies, I stumbled upon a couple of old pieces. The first is my physical representation of anxiety/depression, and the second is a compilation of sky lines from my favorite places. They aren't very good, but I'm learning.

I can't wait to add these to the wall in my apartment!

Wallpapering With Art

I am, without a doubt, a "jack of all trades, master of none." I sing (kind of). I play guitar (kind of). I paint (kind of). I draw (kind of). I write (kind of). I photograph (kind of). I research (kind of). I innovate (kind of). I can be funny(ish), smart(ish), and creative(ish). As frustrating as it is being a JOATMON (ha, I like the acronym), having a multitude of basic skills can come in handy.

Currently, I am creating and collecting as many pieces of art as possible to collage an entire wall in my new apartment. Admittedly, this is a daunting task, and one that I'll probably get bored of before finishing. To speed the process of collecting art along, I am scrounging up doodles done by my friends in high school and "commissioning" pieces from people I know. I'm really excited to see how it all turns out!

This is the first drawing I have done for my wall. Hopefully there will be more to follow.

New Shoes

To be read in the voice of a TV announcer:

Are looking for a gift for a special man in your life? If so, look no further! The hottest Etsy store, Walk With Flair, is now introducing a new line called "Beards and Bowties." Customize your order by specifying the desired style and color of both the beard and bowtie! Want a different color shoes? You can get a pair in gray, white, red, black, or navy blue! Order now while supplies last.

I am putting fine print here because it is apparently necessary for every good advertisement. I hope the Billy Mays tone was successfully conveyed in my post, because that's what I was going for. Exclamation points pain me, but they were a must in this situation. I made this pair of shoes for my fraternity Big Brother's birthday. Fun fact: he has a beard and enjoys wearing bowties. They make excellent dress shoes for the guy that doesn't like to be serious. The link to my store is in the sidebar. End of fine print.
